Welcoming Our New Leadership Team at Prinsted Care Home

Please join us in giving a very warm welcome to our new Home Manager, Robert, at Prinsted Care Home. With over 30 years of experience in the care sector, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge alongside a genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. His inspiration to work in care began at a young age, influenced by his time as a scout and by supporting his own mum through her experiences. This instilled in him a deep desire to help others in the same way we care for our own families.

Robert is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive, and homely environment where every resident feels valued, respected, and truly at home. He is motivated each day by seeing people happy and smiling, and by making the most of every moment with both residents and his own family. Outside of work, Robert enjoys walking and hiking, having even completed the Macmillan Hike in just 8 hours last year, as well as trips to the seaside, cycling with his son, and spending time walking his dog. Described by friends and family as friendly, open, transparent, and a true family man, Robert is already enjoying getting to know residents, families, and staff, and is looking forward to building strong relationships within the Prinsted community.

We are equally pleased to introduce our new Deputy Manager, Samantha, who brings 20 years of experience in the care sector. Samantha shares the same dedication to compassionate care and has a strong background in supporting both residents and staff, reflecting the values at the heart of our residential care and convalescence care services. Inspired by her natural desire to help others, she has always been drawn to caring roles and is passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives. What she loves most about her role is seeing the real impact care can have and the difference it makes to residents each day.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time out in the nice weather, whether by the sea or in the forest, as well as going to the gym and being with her family. Her friends and family describe her as loyal, friendly, caring, and bubbly, qualities that shine through in her work every day. She is motivated by seeing residents happy and supported, and by watching her team provide such dedicated and compassionate care. Samantha is excited to support Robert in continuing to enhance the care and wellbeing of everyone at Prinsted.

Together, Robert and Samantha bring fresh energy, experience, and a shared vision for the future of Prinsted Care Home. We are confident that under their leadership, our home will continue to grow as a place where kindness, dignity, and quality care are at the heart of everything we do, as part of Springfield Care.

Please feel free to say hello when you see them around the home, they are both looking forward to meeting you all. To learn more about life at our homes, visit our latest news or contact our team.
